Cyotek Spriter Features Create sprite sheets and dynamic text effects for HTML, games, toolstrips, and more

Each project can contain multiple images which will be combined to a single sprite sheet. Drag files and folders from Windows Explorer to easily add multiple images to your projects. Or setup "watch" folders to automatically add and remove images from a project.

Spriter allows you to generate text sprites on the fly, using a variety of different gradient, outline, glow, rotation and shadow effects.

Effects can be applied to one or more images in your project to transform the image without modifying the original file. Effects can be added to all images, or a selection. You can also choose to apply them to the original sprites, or to automatically maintained copies; removing the need to create custom versions of graphics.

Each sprite has a customizable CSS class name, which can be further modified by an effect allowing for all sprites in the sprite sheet to have CSS classes generated. Generated CSS can be written a new file, or merged into an existing style sheet.

As well as the sprite sheet image and related CSS, Spriter can also generate a HTML preview of each class in the sprite sheet.

CSS and HTML files are created based on templates which can be customized on a per project basis. Whilst originally designed for CSS, templates can be used to create any text based document you want such as XML or JSON files. Combined with flexible output options Spriter can also be used to create sprite sheets for arcade games, tool strips for applications and more.
